All-natural deliciously moist beef, with chin-dripping ketchup on the side of your mouth, served with softy crunchy textured golden fries. The fries that will brush past your lips after you take a big bite out of your burger. This is Shake Shack.
Shake Shack started out as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park, and all of the profits went to the park. It grew in popularity, which led to the business wanting to develop and grow the concept. After several years in Madison Square Park, Shake Shack finally decided to open a second location.
Shake Shack located off of 1400 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431, in the University Commons, is a clean place, serving hormone and antibiotic free foods. All the burgers are cooked medium unless otherwise requested, and served on non-GMO potato buns.
Dress up your patty with your added choices of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and or onions. At Shake Shack it’s all your choice! All you veggie-lovers, check out my personal favorite the ’Shroom Burger. The ‘Shroom Burger is a whole roasted portobello mushroom , with tomatoes, lettuce, cheddar cheese, melted muenster, and Shack Sauce.
Shake Shack also carries hot dogs and chicken sandwiches, and much like their burgers, it’s all hormone free on non-GMO potato buns. According to Shake Shack,
“Warning: Our fries are highly addictive,”
and the fries are really good and pack so much potato flavor.
Shake Shack is also famous for their milkshakes and floats. I really wanted to try the peanut butter milkshake, and maybe one day I will. On the other hand, the shakes have a very high calorie count when compared to other restaurants and desserts. The vanilla milkshake was satisfying. But if you’re watching your diet, or trying to fit back in those old pair of pants, the vanilla milkshake has the lowest calorie count.
You may sit inside, but I personally would recommend the breezy shaded patio. The patio has great seating, it’s cool, and can be a great little place for your pet.
The burgers are really good; however, the other burgers look sort of small when compared to the ‘Shroom burger. The ‘Shroom Burger was filling and fun, while some of their other burgers look small and a little average to the everyday burger consumer.
Overall, Shake Shack was a nice experience, but I personally believe they do not have the best burgers in town. On the other hand, I love the concept, the Boca Raton atmosphere, and the clean eating concept Shake Shack has. If you decided to shake up your day with Shake Shack, I’d go with the ‘Shroom Burger for your best option.
